Boiler packed up on a Sunday morning with two small kids in the house. Rang at 8, engineer was here before 11 and had it running again by lunch. Explained what had gone and didn't try to sell me a new one.
We had a damp patch on the kitchen ceiling for weeks. They found the leak under the bathroom floor in about forty minutes and only lifted two boards. Fair price too.
Really tidy job on our bathroom. Dust sheets everywhere, hoovered up every evening, and the tiling lines are spot on. Took a couple of days longer than planned because of a tile delay, but they kept us updated the whole way.
Price on the phone was the price on the invoice. Polite lad, wore shoe covers, done in an hour.
Upstairs radiators were barely warm. After the power flush the whole house heats up properly and the boiler's much quieter. Should have called them last winter.
